Course Description

Charting Your Career from PM to PMP® includes topics on project management best practices and the PMI® PMBOK®. Our course is intended for project managers who want to enhance their project management skills, become more familiar with the tenets of the PMBOK knowledge areas, and prepare for the PMP® or CAPM® certification exams. This course provides 35 hours of project management education. Our instructor has several years of experience teaching the course and has helped prepare over 1000 project managers for the PMP exam.

Prerequisites

Charting Your Career from PM to PMP® is beneficial to learners who have a basic understanding of project management fundamentals and who are familiar with PMI’s PMP Certification Handbook.

Course Objectives

Upon completion, learners will be more familiar with:

·         Project management best practices supported by the PMBOK Guide

·         PMI’s Nine Knowledge Areas

·         PMP/CAPM certification requirements and the application process

·         Professional conduct and responsibilities

Course Materials

Registrants will be provided a student handbook, PMBOK Guide, 4th Edition, Q&As for the PMBOK Guide, and PMP Exam Prep Book.
